BusGates® is on a mission to reduce vehicle "drive-around" at bus stops and make every bus stop safer for students. Our Patents Pending Bus Gate products are a simple solution to a major problem. The problem is that too often cars completely ignore the school bus stop signs and drive around them putting students at risk. BusGates® offers a simple solution that easily retrofits the existing stop sign(s) on school buses. The Bus Gate offers additional visibility and sticks out further from the bus to make "drive-arounds" much harder.

48" Fiberglass Bus Gate Arm
$449
The Patent Pending Large Retro Fit BUSGATES® Arm is made of high-quality fiberglass that’s 4″ wide and 48″ long to create the strength and distance needed to stop vehicles in their pathway (after installation the total distance from the school bus to the end of the Large BUSGATES® Arm stretches over 5 1/2 feet!). The fiberglass arm allows for the flexibility needed to stand up to the daily use of the stop arm deployment. The 4 bright L.E.D. lights are 40″ long on both sides to give maximum exposure to the oncoming vehicles from as far as a mile away. L.E.D. lights are set to a continuous light stream to allow contrast with the alternating flashing lights of the stop arm panel. The 8 feet of 3″ 3M™ reflective tape meets Federal Regulations and allows the BUSGATES® Arm to be seen from every angle and the distance needed to warn oncoming motorists of a stopped school bus. The BUSGATES® Large 48″ Arm is installed with the included 2 sets of brackets along with bolts and nuts to mount, quick connects to power. Each BUSGATES® Arm can be installed and ready for use within 15 minutes. A flasher unit can be purchased for ease during installation or BUSGATES® can be directly wired to the flashing unit of the school bus.
